"The controllers are overheating because the machine room has no air conditioning." Plausible on its own — drives do fault on heat.
All six units are losing hydraulic oil at the packing gland or fittings. That's seal wear, not ambient temperature. AC doesn't fix a leaking jack.

Check protocol — same way, every time
- Send the car to the lowest landing and let it sit a few minutes so the piston fully retracts.
- Read the sight glass or dipstick on the power unit. Record it in quarts.
- Note the ambient temperature in the machine room.
- Photograph the reading with the date visible; reference the file name in Notes.
- Any time the vendor tops off oil during a service visit, log the exact quantity the same day.
